hiI hear that Apogee is to be delivered before the end of the year. I know a lot of readers have been asking me about construction updates so here it is! What was even more fun was that I went out to check out the $12M penthouse at Murano at Portofino for a client and I was treated to a birseye view right into the penthouses of Apogee. So I’m doing my best to get my readers on the “inside” first!
Thanks for the update Kevin. It’s going to be a beauty.. I am being told that Asia (on Brickell Key) will be delivered about the same time. Great - I love showing new buildings.
Kevin, I was struck by the lingo and similarities to delivering a baby. Both a labor of love. But a new condo won’t ask for the car keys in 16 years. =) I love how you keep us in the loop.

Regarding your question, “Did you read the Miami Herald last week? Dellacasa is suing Related because they are trying to steal the Dellacasa designs and substitute Dellacasa for a cheaper cabinet!” , I spoke with the Sales Director of Related Group, and she here confirmed that my client’s units delivery will be unaffected by the change. And indicated that they were not satisfied with the delivery and upgraded to a higher quality product, and the judge removed the injunction the next day. How did Dellacasa get the idea that they had the copyright on ITALIAN Design. I’m confident they will install something extraordinary, because as you know Jorge Perez will be residing in the Penthouse.

You are incorrect. Jorge Perez sold his unit to Peter Fine. He will not be residing in the building. Whoever is giving you that info at Related, is laying it on THICK.
Hi Kevin, I think you might want to contact directly the project manager, or the Sales Director, they both had the same opinion, at least as it relates to the unit I sold. Other than your reference to the Herald where are getting your info? A few weeks ago at one of the seminars offered by the Board of Realtors, Alicia Sr., mentioned that Jorge sold one, but has another one on one of the penthouse levels.

It really doesn’t concern me or my clients who bought what. Alicia is giving you mis-information because Tom Daly owns the west-facing unit; another person owns the center unit and Jorge’s unit was sold to Peter Fine.

Summer Kitchens started in balmy southern california, where full kitchens were being installed outside to take advantage of the no rain, mild temps of summer.
Roof kitchens outside in Miami, will either be wet, hot or both.
