hiThe highly anticipated golf course renovation has begun, and North Beach will soon have a first class resort course designed by international golf course architect Arthur Hills. With his successful work on the Miami Beach Golf Club, the city of Miami Beach chose Hills for its next project, the Normandy Shores Golf Course.
The 18 hole course will feature a fully renovated club house with lounge & restaurant, as well as a driving range. Imagine living on this tropical island and being able to head out for a Sunday Brunch overlooking this world class golf course. City residents will be offered special pricing for membership, well below the published rate for non-residents. With this type of hospitality for resident golfers, why live anywhere else?
Homes surround the course, and feature both waterfront & golf views. The city has also started the capital improvement project that will surely enhance the island living & quality of life for it’s residence. In addition, there are 2 playgrounds and 8 public tennis courts to enjoy! With prices reasonably starting in the $500’s for a single family residence overlooking the golf course, now is definitely a great time to become a Normandy Shores resident!

I have seen the old site. It has huge potential for something spectacular. The golf course renovation will surge life and class into that neighbourhood. Lucky residents!
Hi Laura, where is the located??
Omar, Normandy Shores is located just north of 71st Street. The main entrance is on the western stretch of the island just east of the drawbridge over Biscayne Bay. From 71st Street or Normandy Drive, head North on Biarritz Dr, go over the small bridge and pass the guard gate. Continue on Biarritz and you’ll drive passed the club house on the right. You’ll notice the 4 public tennis courts on the left overlooking the wide bay, as well as the playground. Although its still under construction, I recommend checking it out & drive around the neighborhood.
This neighborhood is very friendly to all types of lifestyles, too. For families, there are 2 playgrounds, one with a new pavilion perfect for birthday parties. For the young professionals or the young at heart, there’s the golf course, the club house, & the tennis courts. For the avid fisherman, the waterfront properties offer quick access to the bay & ocean. For me, it’s the modern flair offered in many homes that’s attractive… lots of great terrazo floors & spacious floor plans! Thanks for the comments.
