Maxim Magazine Ranks Miami Beach Top Party City

According to the Miami Herald, Maxim Magazine put Miami Beach at the top of the 10 best party places in the country, dethroning Las Vegas, ranked #1 last year. I’ll drink to that!
The Herald quoted Miami Beach mayor, David Dermer as saying “Miami Beach offers the total package – great nightlife, great culture and a huge amount of activities for people to enjoy”.
I am in agreement with Mr. Dermer. I am a Miami Beach resident since 1980 and have enjoyed living here tremendously. I begun selling Real Estate in 1994 and haven’t looked back since. Miami Beach offers wonderful oceanfront condominiums within walking distance from restaurants, clubs and the exciting lifestyle that inspired Maxim’s top ranking.
The nightlife in Miami Beach is unique and entertaining, and the people-watching is the best around, bar-none (no pun intended). Our restaurants are some of the best in the world, offering a variety of delicious food from all around the world. Our beaches have been ranked in the top ten lists in the world on a regular basis as well and the nickname for Florida, “The Sunshine State“, is a well-deserved moniker.

“Party city” sounds kinda vulgar and unsophisticated.
The funny part was that the guy who announced Miami Beach as the prime party destination, as one of the reasons that it is party paradise was because Shaq is the only cop in town…

it’s good to be party capital. Let’s remember that besides having amazing nightlife, we also have the most amazing events – Art Basel, Food & Wine, Sleepless Night, & soon, Spiegelworld. I’m sure the amazing nightlife helped in attracting such great events.
