Northwestern Bulls Continue to Play like Champions

football.jpgNationally top-ranked high school football team Northwestern won over rival Central at the Orange Bowl by a score of 24-12 to clinch the district title.

According to coach Billy Rolle, quoted in the Miami Herald, “We accomplished one of our main goals”. “We knew we had to be patient because the big plays were going to come”.

And they did. QB Jacory Harris completed 14 of 23 passes for 198 yards and threw for 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. I, for one, am very excited Harris has committed to play for the University of Miami Hurricanes next season.

Congratulations Bulls, you continue to make Miami proud. Keep up the good work.
