Located in an Island off Miami Beach with maginificent views of the Bay and the Marina, close to some of my favorites restaurants like Prima Pasta, Ragazzi & Oggi(Italian), Benihana (Japanese), Vacas Gordas (Argentinian), Siam Bay Shore (Thai).

The building has:

414 Condos en 6.8 acres

Elevated pool with spa and bayviews in The West Tower

Bayside Pool and clubhouse East Tower

24 hr. guard service at entry gate, each lobby, and roving patrol & Valet Parking

State-of-the-art fitness center with men and women’s saunas and locker rooms

It is close to Biscayne and therefore to downtown Miami, Design District and Arts Dictrict

It is off Miami Beach and therefore close to South Beach and its electric day and night life but in a more relax setting

It is just a few minutes away from the Beach and the shopes of Bal Harbour with even more restaurants and shopping opportunites.

Because of the slow Housing Market there are some incredible opportunities to rent apartments in this brand new comlex with 1,2 and 3 bedroom apartments with Gourmet Kitchen with Granite Countertops, GE Profile Steel Appliances, Marble in Kitchen and Foyer, separate shower SPA in Master Bath, ample closets, assigned parking and valet

RENTALS

1 Bedroom From $1,600

2 Bedrooms From $1,700 WOW!!

3 Bedrooms From $2,300

FOR SALE

1 Bedroom From $299,000

2 Bedrooms From $360,000

3 Bedrooms From $520,00

The biggest bargain are the 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom apartments most with views of the Bay or the Marina. There are 77 apartments for rent, 10 of them are just waiting for Association approval so there are 65 apartments available. Of these just 48 are 2/2. At an average of 15 rentals per month there is only a 4 month inventory and not all rentals are reasonable priced, so do not wait, rent new, rent in an Island, live a great live and be close to everything!

We have 4 apartments 2/2 available for rent from $1,750 with views.

Come and visit them we love to show them off!

Staph infections have long been associated with hospital and health care facilities and it can now been found in public places where people share towels, mats and clothes, such as gyms, schools, etc.

30% of the population carries the germs in their noses at any given time without having any symptoms, although they can still pass the germs onto others. Healthy individuals can live with it but it presents a higher risk for the older population, children, people with compromised immune systems and workers in the health care industry. Most cases can be treated with antibiotics and proper medical supervision.

So no need to panic, and for some common sense tips on how to prevent MRSA, click on the Miami Herald link and keep yourself and your family safe.

Here’s a fun Halloween brunch treat…a jack-o-lantern fritata. This recipe is for a big one to serve 15-20 people, you can scale it down as needed.

24 eggs

24 drops of red food coloring (one per egg to make it pumpkin orange)

2 bunches scallions, sliced thinly

1 red pepper, sliced thinly

8 oz. grated parmegian or other cheese

sliced black olives for the face

Pre-heat oven to 350. Saute scallions and pepper in olive oil, just to sweat and soften. Set aside. Beat eggs with food coloring and 6 oz. of the cheese. Fold in scallions and peppers. Pour mixture into non-stick pan and cook on stove top until bottom browns and it just begins to bubble and solidfy. Transfer to oven and watch until it is just set enough to put olives on top–about 12 minutes for this big one, less for smaller ones. Remove from oven and make a face out of the sliced olives. Sprinkle the remainder of the cheese over the top. Change oven to broil and heat the whole thing until the cheese begins to bubble and browns slightly. Remove from oven and let cool down. Transfer to serving dish. You don’t want to overcook this, ideally it should be a little loose in the middle. Enjoy.

Although pink flamingos have long been the image for Florida wildlife, we have some scary looking critters here.

I spotted this handsome fellow along the linear park on Red Road in Pinecrest.

I will never forget the time I took a couple, recently relocated from Boston, to Fairchild Tropical Garden. As I was talking and showing them all the beautiful foliage the woman suddenly grabbed my arm and practically climbed up my back. About five Jesus lizards, which run upright on their hind legs, darted right in front of us and ran across the water. As her eyes followed their path, she focused on a pair of huge iguanas. “I feel like I’m in Jurassic Park!” she exclaimed. “Welcome to Florida,” I replied.
