Dear Fellow Music Lovers
After moving from the UK to the USA 16 years ago I stopped singing …… 2 years ago I found the Master Chorale of South Florida and began again! It has been such a great feeling to be back singing that I would like to invite you to come and enjoy our upcoming season of truly beautiful and contrasting music.
We are a group of about 130 people who just love to sing and make great music for our friends, family and fellow classical music lovers.
This November 16,17 and 18, the we are presenting Gloria! Gloria! Gloria!, a program of glorias by Vivaldi, Poulenc and Rutter. While the text for each piece is identical, the presentations are vastly different. The singers will be accompanied by the critically acclaimed Boca Raton Philharmonic and soprano Marvis Martin, a University of Miami graduate who has “graced the opera and concert stages of the world.”

Once you’ve heard us you’ll be wanting more so in April next year, we will perform Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, one of the world’s most popular choral-orchestra masterpieces of the 20th century. My son, who is 13, cannot wait for this one as he used some of this music in a video history project for school! So there’s something for all ages!
