Amendment 1- Is it enough?

hiSo many people couldn’t decide if Amendment l was good. It was good, better than nothing and at least the issue was addressed after years of escalating property taxes. Relief for homeowners was long overdue. The portability is the most important feature. A good part of the initiative is the election of the property appraiser. Finally, an independent man free to make his own decisions. Now, buying a home in Florida will still have attraction and make it a more affordable destination. Hopefully this subject will be revisited so we can get a better deal. Property taxes must be lowered much more and if the electorate keeps up the pressure, it can be done.
