Don’t Let your Vote on Amendment 1 be Meaningless

hiI just read the following article from the Sun Sentinel, I am shocked. Apparently even though we voted & approved for property tax relief, many cities across Broward County, including Lauderdale Lakes, Southwest Ranches & Deerfield Beach may vote to increase your property taxes.
It sad but true, that we may not receive the relief we need! No matter what city you live in, make it a point to go to the Budget Meeting for your city. These meetings are usually held in August at city hall. It is time for us to make our voices heard. Our cities need to get creative & buckle down…just as we all have!
