hiSo it’s Sunday & you want to go to the beach, but you’re dreading having to bring the cooler, the chairs, the volleyball, the radio… well then, just leave it all behind & go to the beach! For a limited time (until May 18th), there’s a FREE event in North Beach every Sunday at the Bandshell on 73rd St east of Collins Ave that includes live music, a volleyball tournament, & a dominoes competition. There’s even a dance contest. Last week’s winners received 2 tickets on American Airlines to anywhere in the Caribbean - just for shaking their booty in public. Don’t think you have the shake? Last week’s live hot Salsa band featuring Roberto Torres singing his famous Caballo Viejo proved everyone can shake!
Lounge out during the day around the volleyball courts and use the free chairs & umbrellas. There’s plenty to do all day, or nothing more than just lounging… but definitely come and check this out. It’s fun, it’s different, and best of all, it may only cost you a booty shake. Kids are welcome.
