Peruvian Piscos and Panoramic Views in Coconut Grove

May 9th 2008
hi

A frothy refreshing Pisco SourI love the Panorama Restaurant and Lounge on the eighth floor of the Sonesta Hotel in Coconut Grove. Not only do they serve up a mean Pisco Sour (careful, they creep up on you) the view overlooking the Dinner Key Marina and Peacock Park is wonderful.

There is an indoor dining room as well as a more casual outside eating area and the staff is very accommodating. The service is polite and unrushed, allowing you plenty of time to chat with friends, gaze at the view and look over the menu.

The ceviche trio is an amazing combination of three different ceviches: scallops, shrimp, and tuna. I still can’t decide which is my favorite. The food is typical Peruvian and includes items such as the Lomo Saltado, Aji de Gallina, and Arroz Chifa. Comfortable enough for friends and formal enough for clients!
