One Of Miami’s First Ecobroker-Certified Realtors Joins EWM Realtors

Real estate agent Andrea Crilly knows how to ‘go green,’ from the ground up. She is one of the first realtors in Miami to earn the EcoBroker Certified designation, and is now part of EWM Realtors.
The EcoBroker designation is given to realtors who complete a special education program which, in turn, allows the realtors to help their clients live healthier and more energy-efficient lifestyles by promoting ‘green’ features in homes and buildings.
“We are absolutely delighted to have someone with the EcoBroker certification as part of the EWM family,” says Beth Butler, COO of EWM. “Andrea also brings with her experience from Europe in this arena, so she will clearly have the capabilities to provide great insight individuals and families with a strong environmental focus when purchasing a home.”
EcoBroker is an industry certification provided by AEEREP (Association of Energy and Environmental Real Estate Professionals). It is a Built Green Educational Partner – a voluntary program out of Colorado that encourages homebuilders to use products and practices that reduce pollution and utilize greater energy efficiency. The unique distinction is an asset to Crilly who believes being an EcoBroker gives her a competitive edge in the marketplace as well as offering more to her clients and their needs.
“National research indicates that 80 percent of consumers consider themselves ‘green-minded,’” said Crilly. “As an EcoBroker I am able to pair property buyers with homes that are gentler to the environment and which can save them money as well.”
In addition to being an EcoBroker, Crilly is a licensed Florida real estate professional and a certified home staging professional. She is a member of the Florida Association of Realtors and the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County.
