hi(July 21, 2008) - Al Arostegui, who in his 30-year real estate career has handled some of the largest estates in Florida with record-breaking sales, has joined EWM Realtors, announced Ron Shuffield, President.
Arostegui is widely recognized for his expertise in luxury lifestyle real estate. Often regarded as one of the industry’s true innovators, he has always applied forward thinking to his strategies. Among his clients are some of the biggest names in business, sports and entertainment.
“I am absolutely delighted that Al has joined the EWM team,” says Shuffield. “We’ve had the opportunity to work with him over the years, and have always been impressed by his dedication and professionalism. His keen insight and cutting edge approach to the real estate market are welcomed additions to EWM.”
Arostegui, a native Miamian, is a ‘client-first’ type of individual whose creative approach has included ferrying prospective buyers to waterfront properties by his boat, allowing them to enjoy a taste of living in their future neighborhoods.
During his career, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including being named by Elite magazine as one of the 200 leading luxury residential real estate brokers in the United States. He has also earned the title of “Miami’s Megabroker” by Unique Homes magazine.
“This is the time. This is the place. I felt it when I walked in the building,” Arostegui said upon joining EWM. “I’ve always admired this company’s quality and the grace of its associates. I’m excited to be here.”
Arostegui is the former president of the South Grove Home Owners Association, a founding member of the Realtor’s Master Broker’s Forum and a member of the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. He lives in a historic 100-year old home in Coconut Grove with his wife, Sandy, of 26 years, and their 18-year old son, Alex, a graduate of Gulliver Preparatory School.

Dear Al, It has been a long time since I have seen you, back in the days when I used to manage Wimbish.
You will find the environment at EWM to be friendly, supportive and ethical. I love it here. I wish you success at EWM.
