Vizcaya is open to the public 364 days each year (closed Christmas Day); I invite you to visit this serene and stunningly beautiful retreat in the heart of Miami.
Built by agricultural industrialist James Deering in 1916, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens features a main house, ten acres of formal gardens, a hardwood hammock, and soon-to-be-restored historic village. Best of all it is free to the public this Sunday.
