Venetian Pool is Closed!

The Venetian Pool will be closed for the next eight months while it goes through renovations and restorations. The City of Coral Gables will renovate things such as the restrooms and locker rooms and restore the two fountains, among other things.

Built in 1924, the Venetian Pool has become a Coral Gables landmark and these improvements will revamp this beautiful piece of local history.

    Alexandra,

    As I mentioned to you in the past I grew up in a house across the street from Venetian pool. As a child my father would walk us across the street a few times a week in the evenings to watch the maintenance personnel drain and clean the pool which incredibly would be filled again by the following morning.
