Veteran’s Day – Making It Meaningful
Categories: About EWM, Community Events, In The News, Real Estate News
hiToday is Veteran’s Day. Today is the day set aside by congress to say Thank You to those who have served our country in order to ensure our freedom, the very freedom we enjoy today. It appears this honorable day has been lost in the shuffle with the transition of power to a new President, the gloomy economic forecast and one day sales in the department stores.
As a very grateful citizen, I would like to say thank you to all the men and women who have so honorable served this great nation to make it safe and free for all. Thank you to the men and women who are currently our country in our armed forces, especially in Iraq and Afganistan. I personally thank my husband Oldy who served in the Marine Corps during the Panamanian Conflict and my son Jason who served in the Army in both Afganistan and Iraq.
Please take the time today to thank a Veteran. Your kind words mean so much. Let us not forget the sacrifices of so many. If you can, please contribute to one of the numerous organizations who support and care for our soldiers.
Who would you like to thank?:
