hiOne of the truly amazing things of the South Miami, High Pines and Coral Gables area are the excellent elementary schools….One of them, St. Thomas which is located at the intersection of Red Road (SW 57 Ave.) & Kendall Dr. (SW 88 St.), recently had its annual Auction/Dance…. The evening was a resounding success with over 400 guests attending its “Hawaiian Breezes” party…There were over 500 items auctioned off including a ride on the world famous Goodyear blimp…. St. Thomas is over 50 years old, has 425 students enrolled in grades from pre-kindergarten thru 5th, and a staff of almost 70….
