Renowned Realtor Bob Cable Joins EWM

June 9, 2009 EWM Realtors is proud to announce that Bob Cable, a real estate pioneer in Southwest Broward County, has joined the company’s Weston office. Popularly known as “The Cable Guy,” Cable has been connecting buyers and sellers around the world since 1979 and has handled more than $225 million in career sales.
“Bob has watched communities grow from the ground up – literally, in some cases – and has a keen understanding of the industry and its inner workings,” said Ron Shuffield, President of EWM. “He is a dedicated and an innovative professional. We are confident that he will continue to further EWM’s role in the community and be a major asset to our sales force.”
Bob Cable has spent most of his career where he first started – Weston Realty (Arvida Realty Services). Arvida became known as Coldwell Banker. Before that, he worked as a senior programmer/analyst for a developer. Cable sells real estate in various cities throughout Broward (from Miramar north to Parkland). His extensive knowledge of the area stems from a longstanding history within it: He has been serving Weston since the first house was built there and has a floor plan of every model ever constructed.
“These communities generate a great deal of pride for me and I look forward to serving them in one of Southwest Broward’s premiere offices,” said Cable. “EWM strives to provide clients with state-of-the-art technological tools and outstanding service – objectives which I hope to continue.”
In addition to being certified in corporate relocation, Cable is eCertified®, a designation earned by associates who complete extensive training in servicing the market needs of online consumers. He is also a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).
Beyond his professional success, the father of three sons has played an integral role in the community. He has been involved in baseball athletic programs including The YMCA, a travel baseball team known as the Rattlers and The WALL (Western Area Little League), where he coached.
Bob has received numerous professional accolades including receiving membership in the Master Brokers Forum (MBF), an elite group of realtors that has reached high levels of sales production.
