This past month I’ve closed several listings in Forest Ridge in Davie and I have not had any difficulty with the appraisals. There are a share of short sales and foreclosures in the neighborhood, and there are also properties that are so outstanding for the price that buyers have paid over the appraised value. While I am still being cautious by telling sellers that their home is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, I am breathing a little bit easier these days.
