Miami-Dade tax calculator reflects “Flat tax”

hiMiami-Dade County’s property tax calculator is now reflecting the proposed “flat tax” commissioners recently approved.
The calculator’s results are going to be good news for most property owners, according to the property appraiser’s office.
According to a news release, “this new tentative tax rate is a reduction from the proposed rolled-back rate, and should result in lower county taxes for most property owners on their 2009 property tax bills.”
