Great news for South Florida real estate.  According to the "Real Deal Online" sales of Miami Condos jumped 134% last month compared to the same time in 2010.  1262 condos were sold in January as compared to 540 condos sold in January of 2010. I have had several inquiries for rental properties in Coral Gables lately.   Here is a breakdown of the rental market in Coral Gables.  There are approximately 189 properties currently for rent in Coral Gables. They are split 50/50 between single family homes and condominiums.  There have been roughly 30 properties to rent so far this year at an average rental price of $2,546.  Properties in Coral Gables are renting for approximately 96% of their asking price. I have many clients who are interested in purchasing a home within the boundaries of the Sunset Elementary School District.   The boundaries put out by the school system are difficult to ascertain from their website (see above), so the best way to find a home in the Sunset Elementary district is to head to the MLS.  When Realtors insert the information for a particular listing on the MLS they are also supposed to enter in the districts that correspond with that address. ...Continue Reading!
