I know many people have been talking about taking the “Fast Cat” to Key West but just have never done it. Well, I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to go to Fantasy Fest or just to Key West for the day or the weekend. You can board the boat at the Seaquarium on Virginia Key and it normally leaves about 8am. The trip is 4 hours about 2 miles offshore so you can clearly see all of the Keys as you head South. The boat holds 255 people and has air conditioned salons as well as extensive outdoor seating and even a sun deck, a snack bar and a full cocktail bar.
