Caterer EVERYONE is asking about!

Sep 29th 2008
hi

The question keeps coming up:   ”Who was the phenomenal CATERER  The Venetian Coral Gables Villas hired for the event at Cernuda Art Gallery in September?”      After several requests for information … (each of those neighbors and friends subsequently  having hired and reported back with gushing raves) … and  one more request  right now for “Who was that fabulous caterer that everyone is talking about?” I thought I’d put it in

Sep 18th 2008
hi

Some residents of Hollywood Beach are under a boil water advisory this evening.  Also, their water service might be interrupted.
The boil water notice extends from Iris Terrace to Azalea Terrace and from State Road A1A west to the Intracoastal.  Apparently a crew struck a main pipe while digging.
Residents in those areas are asked to bring all water for

Open Houses… Worth Doing? 100 responses to a blog topic …in 24 hours?

Sep 2nd 2008
hi

Wondering whether open houses are worth doing, over 100 responses flooded in,  in response a Keller Williams blog published in Active Rain, in the span of a day!  http://www.up0.net/c.html?rtr=on&s=eage,4h79,469,k0e0,c2hn,aloq,c2jr   The ’value of the open house’  question sparked every response imaginable… and then again some.  My response was an emphatic ‘YES’, because open houses, for me…  (even in our currently sluggish Miami market)… have been a worthwhile means of moving property.   ”FOR SALE BY

ICE … “In Case of Emergency”

Aug 30th 2008
hi

Under the heading “ICE” in your cell phone  (meaning ‘in case of emergency’)  insert names and numbers for whomever should be contacted,  in an emergency.   Paramedics may not have the opportunity to debrief your phone,  but hospital personnel and medical staff often do.   Scrolling to “ICE” is  far simpler than searching blindly.  (Guessing at an emergency contact is a hit and miss game… as anyone knows who

Triangles and Control

Aug 10th 2008
hi

Did you ever wonder what those little indentations were on the end of your aluminum foil package or plastic wrap?
Have you ever been upset when you are pulling the aluminum foil off of that stupid cardboard roll and the entire thing, meaning the roll of whatever it is, comes out in your hand before you can

Understanding the US Energy Crisis

Jul 27th 2008
hi

The high cost of fuel is affecting everything from the value of the US dollar to price of gasoline, food, electricity, etc. Is the big SUV many of us drive the primary cause? The SUV may contribute and may be the symbol of our wasteful nature but is not the primary cause. Most people are concentrating on

Real Estate & High Fuel prices…

Jul 3rd 2008
hi

According energy experts, high fuel prices are here to stay — how is this going to affect real estate? Is this positive or negative for Miami-Dade? The days gasoline at $1-$3 per gallon may be gone forever. Some experts predict that gasoline prices will reach $7/gal in less than three years. This is not far fetched when

Pink Ribbon Campaign…

May 20th 2008
hi

I just received a telephone call from the American Cancer Society or so it seemed. My wife has survived two bouts with cancer, so we give to the Women’s Cancer Center and the ACS. Something about this call did not sound right — it sounded too much like a boiler room operation.
So I asked how

hi

Have you seen this yet? Check it out…it’s called streetview.
A buddy of mine who’s on the GoodMorningRealEstateticket, sent me a link to Google’s new “drive-by” service.
It’s a nice compliment to Google Earth, now you’ll be able
to see street level views as well as ones from space. Watch the YouTube and see how awesome this is:
