Residential Construction Spending Increased More Than Expected In June

hiIn June 09 construction spending rose by 0.3%, and the residential component rose 0.7% there was a 2.4 jump in single-family, improvements to existing muti-unit and single-family buildings contributed to the increase. These are indications that although tentative, the housing market is showing signs of stabilization.
