After a week in the up and coming City of Greenville, South Carolina I was back looking at homes in the Coral Gables weekly brokers opens. The common characteristic of the 4 homes I previewed which ranged in list price from $525K to $2,495K was that they all needed updating. Last Monday Susan Heatley of Heatley Real Estate at EWM closed the sale of 8750 Ponce De Leon Blvd. in the Ponce Davis section of Miami for $1,551,250. The buyer has told us that he plans to tear the existing 1942 residence down and construct a new one on the 62,000 sq. ft. lot. I believe the architect is presently working on the plans.
