Today I attended South Miami & South Gables Red Sunset Merchants Association luncheon with Isabel Merritt (in the blue jacket) owner of Isabel, Fine Home Furnishings at 7334 Red Road, South Miami and Mari Colina ( in the brown suit), manager of the NAFH Bank branch a few store fronts down from Isabel's. Last Thursday members of St Thomas Episcopal Parish in south Coral Gables were feeding the homeless at the Community Partnership for the Homeless in downtown Miami. St. Thomas members do this once a month and last Thursday they noticed a drop in the number of dinners served to about 400 which is down from a figure of around 700 several months ago.
