Where do you go ? Ok..... So you are living in this great area that looks fantastic, has pretty homes etc., etc.,etc., but you still have to deal with the mundane things of day-to-day living such as grocery shopping....So where do you go in "downtown" South Miami... We are lucky as we have 3 major chain stores conveniently close by...Of course the selection is always a personal one,and I do use all three, but hands down my favorite is Whole Foods located at 6701 Red...Continue Reading!

Do you remember the Old Grove before the Hippies and the Yuppies took over and changed its ambiance ...Not a bad change but a change nonetheless... Well, we can take you back to the Old Grove with our listing (and even the street name evokes memories of a day gone past) at 3753 Matheson Ave. . Expensive single family homes are beginning to make a comeback in 2010. In 2010 there have been 13 closings in the South Gables running from the most expensive at 181 E. Sunrise Ave. (which I believe is A Rod's former house and doesn't have a photo) which sold for $8,500,000 to 1020 S. Alhambra Circle which was the least expensive at $760,000. The only other house which closed below $1,00o,000(actually $1,162,600) was a Gables Waterway property at 832 Alfonso Ave. ...Continue Reading!
