Homes For Sale In High Pines Vary Drastically

When you take a look at the homes for sale in High Pines you will notice that there are bascially two types: those that are new construction (2007 to 2010) and those that need to be torn down/renovated.  This explains the prices you see there.   There are homes priced at $390,000, $500,000, $550,000 and $649,000 - which are the ones that are selling for land value and then those that are new construction which are priced from $1,390,000 up to $2,300,000.  There is one foreclosure on the market right...Continue Reading!

Somerset Academy in South Miami

Many people aren't aware of the new charter school in South Miami called Somerset Academy.  The school is known for its bilingual study program in both Spanish and Mandarin.  Students are accepted on a lottery basis and they are currently still accepting applications for the 2010/2011 school year.  Applicants will be notified in late March.  You do not have to be a resident of the City of South Miami to be admitted.   Tuition is required for the preschool years only.  Visit their website Somerset Academy for more...Continue Reading!
