Cooper City Real Estate
Home to 27,933 residents (according to the 2000 census), Cooper City was founded in 1959 by Morris Cooper. Nicknamed, Someplace Special, Broward County’s Cooper City was recognized as one of the Ten Best Towns for Families in Family Circle magazine’s August 2007 issue.
One way Cooper City works to unite its residents and uphold its reputation as a family-friendly city is through regular city-planned events. One such event is called First Fridays Family Game Nights. On the first Friday of every month, Cooper City invites local families to enjoy a night of playing board games at its Pool & Tennis Center. The city also hosts various events throughout the year geared towards different age groups in its population such as socials and dances for its adult community and the Friday Night Tween Splash & Fun, which is a special invitation for the city’s middle school students to socialize by having a few snacks, playing a round of pool or in the city’s game-room.
