Pembroke Pines Real Estate

An incorporated community, Pembroke Pines has been named one of Florida’s fastest growing cities and is currently the ninth largest city in the state of Florida. As a result, Pembroke Pines is booming with expansive neighborhoods, shopping centers, an array of outstanding parks, educational institutions on every level, and is home to 159,422 residents (according to the 2000 census).

Pembroke Pines can credit much of its expansion and rapid increase in population as a result of Hurricane Andrew in 1992. The hurricane’s detrimental effects forced an influx of Miami-Dade County residents to relocate further north and to the inland city of Pembroke Pines.

The Pembroke Pines community is neighbored by the Hollywood and Miramar communities.
