New Whole Foods–a whole lot of fun

hiToured the new Whole Foods supermarket in Coral Gables yesterday. My impression—very favorable. The staff there now is from out of town. They’re setting up the store and training new employees. Everyone is so <nice> and <helpful> and <happy>, it’s kinda like being amongst Moonies.

In Search of the Great Pumpkin…

hiI have pumpkin on the brain. All I can think about lately are pumpkins. Maybe its because all of the Halloween decorations have been up since August. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin ravioli, baked pumpkin seed “pepitas”, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, pumpkin flan, pumpkin cheesecake, Jack-o-Lanterns, the headless horseman, the Smashing Pumpkins.
