What Seniors Should Know before Modifying Mortgage

Dave Magua, P.A.

Maria Olmo doesn’t like her chances of paying off her new, 40-year mortgage. “I’ll die before it’s paid off,” said Olmo, who got her 30-year mortgage modified because she was at risk of losing her home to foreclosure. “This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard in years. They didn’t take my age or my income into consideration.” Since last year, companies servicing delinquent mortgages have been under orders from the federal government to modify the loans rather than foreclose...Continue Reading!

Credit Card Frustration Update

Terry Barnhart, P.A.

Again, fortunately I have not had a need to carry a balance, so I am 'a credit card bum'...I charge, pay and they get no interest. I have 2...Continue Reading!

Dave Magua, P.A.

It’s been five years since Hurricane Katrina came roaring into the Gulf Coast, dramatically changing New Orleans and the lives of those who called it home. Beth Kipnis

Grovenor House has had 13 sales so far this year, compared to only seven in 2009! There are currently 2 under contract and enough time for more to sell and bump that number even higher. More good news is that the price per square foot is up impressively, too. Last year's average square foot price was $518 while this year the number is $570.
